One(B)

One(B) course builds on the One(A) - Intro to Aerospace course by undertaking a deeper exploration of Aerospace; an exploration designed to discover, learn and apply fundamental principles in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines; to identify, define and solve problems; to build student knowledge, skill and responsibility.

Throughout the course, unit studies will encourage students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and apply their knowledge and skills. By the end of the year, students will emerge with a deeper appreciation for leadership qualities, a passion for aviation and technology, and a sense of empowerment to pursue their aspirations in these exciting fields.

Unit Studies include a deeper dive into these topics:

• RC Airplanes

• Drones

• Powered Flight

• Cyber/ Robotics

• Computer- Aided Design (CAD)

• Outdoor Ed

• Character/ Leadership skills

• Space Exploration

SCHEDULE:

Centennial- Classes meet Fridays from 9:30-3:30 throughout the school year.

Falcon- Classes meet Thursdays from 9:30-3:30 throughout the school year.

N. Colorado Springs (Northgate)- Classes meet Tuesdays from 9:00-3:00 throughout the school year.
